ELOHEIM: Ascension is NOT based on Feelings

From a private  session, July 2009

Ascension is not a feeling based system.

Ascension interacts with the body at the chakra above the crown chakra.

What happens is that a lot of people expect Ascension to have a strong feeling that goes along with it.  They hope it’s excitement and rejuvenation and a sense of, “Yeah it’s time to go,” as if you’re going on a vacation or something.  It’s not like that.

Ascension doesn’t have a strong physically based component, which is actually a good thing because if it had a strong physically based component, it would probably be excitement, and excitement always has included in it the idea that you’re going to be “non-excited” sometime soon.  The greatest concerts, the greatest sports event, the greatest vacation, all come to an end.

With Ascension not being a feeling state,

it helps it to become an avenue for bliss.

Bliss is a non-duality state.

However, the “trip up” here is that you’re so used to being motivated by a feeling based state, that you all are responding with, “Not much is going on” or “I feel the blahs” or “I have no motivation.  I’m not excited.  Nothing seems new.”

Another aspect of this is expecting or wanting things to be radically different immediately.  “I’m in Ascension.  I’m conscious.  I’ve done all this work.  Things should be really, really different.”

It is not a radical change as much as,

A radical shift of the way you experience the ordinary.

Which, again, isn’t the rah-rah that everyone seems to anticipate.

It’s been your modus operandi for all this time,

that change is accompanied either by extreme fear

or extreme excitement,

which is often covering up extreme fear.

Now, all of a sudden, you’re getting into a change that just feels sort of numb or blah and you’re thinking, “This can’t be making sense.”  This is one of the big paradigm alterations occurring right now.

You’re altering the way you experience things being new

and the way you experience things being new

is that you experience the way you interact with things differently.

That’s really where we’re seeing the biggest changes show up.

Something, that in the past would have triggered you enormously, now doesn’t trigger you.  And then you say, “Well that was boring because although I didn’t get triggered I didn’t get happy either.”  That’s where you must use Spiritual Discipline and just stay with the, “I didn’t get triggered.”  Because the, “I didn’t get triggered” leaves you more in the neutral observation perspective.

Neutral observation leads to Bliss.

Now bliss is not happy, happy, joy, joy.

Bliss is a state with no opposite.

Which is a very satisfying change from “adrenaline junky”, “over achiever”, human.

You’re simply looking to have an experience of Earth

that’s never been had before.

And it’s not boring.

It’s endlessly fascinating.

But it’s not necessarily exciting

and that’s the nuance that you’re all learning about.

Now “fascinating” can become what used to be “exciting”.  In the beginning, we just hear people saying all the time, “Well it was very interesting but it didn’t get my juices flowing.”

It’s not supposed to get your juices flowing.

Because it’s not just, “Let’s do human some more.”

It’s, “Let’s do Homo Spiritus.

And “doing Homo Spiritus”

means experiencing the world in a brand new way.

Just like other evolutionary leaps

where you started using tools or you started having machines

or you started having technology,

it wasn’t, “Let’s do it the same way we’ve always done it,

but somehow it’ll be better.”

It’s, “Let’s do something radically new!”

You’re in the messy middle ground of moving out of a way of being that was based on fear and based the body’s responses to stimulus and into a consciousness based system.

Of course the fear based system had a way of telling you that something was going on. This was by scaring you.  Whereas the consciousness based system tells you something’s going on by you observing your changed reaction to stimulus, and experiencing the world in a brand new way.  This new way doesn’t require your body to be ‘fear of getting dead’ every time you walk out the front door.

The body has known that fear meant, “Something’s going on.”

Now, since the body doesn’t get the fear message,

the body says, “Well, this is boring.”

When you get the sense of, “This is boring”, we would invite you to relanguage this into, “This is a new paradigm and I want to try this new paradigm ‘on’.” It’s kind of like you’ve just put it on for the first five minutes and you haven’t really decided whether or not you like it because you don’t know what it entails.

It’s like getting to a new country and you’re still in the airport and you’re like, “Well, there’s nothing going on.”  Well you’re in an airport!  Airports aren’t very exciting anyway except for the taking off and the landings.

You’re still in the “airport” of the new paradigm.

You need to give it an opportunity where you actually take that new paradigm

out into your life without the preconceived idea that

“If I’m not in an extreme body reaction I’m half dead or bored

or going to die” or all those other things that could be true.

It requires a commitment on your part, to look around and say, “What is interesting here?  What’s fascinating in this space?  When I stop perceiving this lack of excitement as boring and I start perceiving this lack of excitement as, “Wow!  My body’s finally getting a break from fear!”

That’s the choice point.  The illumination of that moment where you say,

“I could say boredom here”

or “I can say I’m not in fear here”.

That’s the choice that consciousness is finally giving you.

The choice between,

“What is actually going on here”

and “I used to be afraid here”.

Right now you have to get accustomed to this new paradigm, try it on and see how it fits into your life.  When you’re not afraid that there’s something wrong with you or that it’s always going to be this boring, or are you ever going to have excitement again, simply identify them as new fears coming up.  Fear is very good at finding little ways to creep in and show up.  It’s like water; it flows in all spots.  Because you’re not getting the trigger of fear anymore, you must be aware to make sure you don’t substitute other fears in its place.  The tools to use are to ask yourself, “What is going on in this moment?  What is really true right here and now?”  And when you feel as if nothing is going on, well, all right!  Let that be what’s true.  There’s a little vacation.  You’re taking a little vacation from habitual fear.

This is precisely why we’ve said

that the body is the focus for the next six months

because taking a vacation from the constant stress

of the fear based operating system,

the body is going to have a download about that.

It’s going to have a down time.

It’s going to have a time where it is saying, “Oh!  Thank God!”

If you go on a big vacation and you’re running around and running around and running around, you get home, you sleep in your own bed, you eat your own food, on your own schedule, on your own time, day light time or whatever you call it, you feel that “ahhh”, even though you’re still tired you’re still relaxed. That’s kind of what’s happening.

As you take your body out of the fear based operating system and put it into the consciousness-based operating system, your body is finally getting to say, “ahhh”.  Now for some people, this means that physical stuff is really up.  But for others, it can simply mean easing into the new paradigm in a new way.  We really recommend that you find it in yourself to choose to cherish this time,

When you’re just a little bit bored or not stimulated,

and see if you can find other ways to look for “interesting”,

rather than expect your body to tell you

what you have to pay attention to.

When the mind is directing the body, it is always saying, “Could be danger, could be danger, could be danger” and to always “look, look, look, look, look for the danger”.

When you start to live in neutral observation,

then even if there are things that you might need to attend to,

they don’t come at you as danger.

They come at you as opportunity, options, choices.

The body gets to have a completely new way of moment-to-moment interaction

making each experience much, much easier.

When you feel this kind of numbness or boredom, we invite you to say, “I am not in fear right now, so if I look at this world from a not-fear place, what do I see that’s new?”  Add another layer of consciousness to what’s actually going on.

On some levels, to surrender fear,

you also surrender excitement.

But you don’t surrender interesting,

and interesting is a more fulfilling version of excitement

because it doesn’t have an opposite.

There’s always something to be interested in.

Even if you feel bored, that can be interesting.

Whereas excitement has a lot of opposites to it.

And of course the reason it’s exciting is there’s usually fear in there too.

Fear and excitement, are the two sides of the same coin.

We remember when we first brought up neutral observation, people were saying that it sounded boring.  Yet now, after all this time, they’re starting to see where it’s not boring.  It’s just different.  And it’s a saving grace because when you’re stuck in excitement – excitement is hard on the body – and it has that opposite of fear that’s waiting, at all times, to be thrown in the mix.  Think of a roller coaster or any carnival ride, oh it’s so exciting!  Or you’re scared.  Or both.

You can be thrilled and enthralled and all these sorts of things.  It’s not like that’s gone out of your life now.  But it is that you don’t want to necessarily be looking at that as the highest potential for your life anymore.  “Oh, God.  I’d be so excited to go on x, y, z vacation.”  Ok, why is that so much better than your current life and what can you do in your current life to shift it so that you’re not so all the time miserable that the only thing you can think about is six months from now getting the hell out of Dodge?!

This is a good point that we should summarize with.  When you’re feeling that something would be exciting and you’re pointing a finger – this would be exciting! – look at why you think you have to have that in order to have a sense of fulfillment or joy or happiness in your life – because that is going to illuminate the places where you have the opportunity to make a shift in your day-to-day life for more peace, joy and bliss.

Bless you for sharing this private excerpt!

There is more than enough bliss within every moment to inspire and ignite my imaginings, my heart whispers, and my intentional choice for love!

Through neautral observation I see, sense and feel the shift within. Yes, I have noticed the energetic movement from fear responses and triggers to ease and allowance as my body relaxes into my new way of expression that doesn’t require my flight or fright habits… and as I embrace these changes my body is sleeping, dreaming and releasing old ways of doing things.

Ahhh, insight, bliss, and being me, in each and every moment, is enough!

    Much love and appreciation,
    Nardine
